As a support to design and work supervision activities, NRV | Norvia provides topography and cartography services with its own resources that includes total stations, GNSS real time UAV equipments, as well as Geographic Information Systems designed for field data treatment, building digital elevation models, ortophotomap processing, GIS database creation, and so on.
In this area of activity we develop studies for earthworks, slope stability, containing walls, foundation and embankment works. Services are provided on design stage, supervision of works and quality control during construction. Geotechnical surveys assured with laboratories fully equipped for testing soils, aggregates, hydraulic and bituminous mixtures.
Faithful evaluation of traffic levels is a growing demand when transport system infrastructure improvement is undertaken, resulting in the need to develop specific studies since the planning phase to different design stages, construction and exploitation. Provided services are related to the traffic volume evaluation during the infrastructure’s conception, and also in the evaluation of traffic loads on infrastructures whose exploitation depends on vehicle load action.
As a response to the growing importance that accident control has gained in road management, we develop studies related to road accidents, including road safety inspections and high accident zone evaluation, aiming to decrease accidents risks and its consequences.
