The road inventory can be achieved with different tools such as Astra Light or with Mobile devices.
High speed inventory allows data collection inside a vehicle while it runs the road along its side. Collected data is referenced to kilometre marks and to GPS coordinates.
For surveys with specific geographical requirements, data collection can be performed with Mobile devices with GIS real time tools.
We provide pavement monitoring services both in road and airport infrastructures. NRV | Norvia has the most recent technology for pavement structural and functional characterization using the following equipments: Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), Laser profiler (Longitudinal evenness / IRI - International Roughness Index), Laser Texture depth meter (macrotexture), Grip-tester (friction tester), Astra light, used in road inventory and photographic inventory. Data collected with these equipments is used for pavement management systems, road rehabilitation studies and for quality control during construction.

Since road signs play an important role as the link between the driver and the road atmosphere, its quality has great influence in road safety. We provide services road signs monitoring (both vertical signs and road marks) with equipment and devices specially conceived for this purpose. Road marks evaluation is achieved with a dynamic monitoring equipment known as ECODYN, a device that allows a continuous evaluation of longitudinal road marks, traveling at a speed of 80 to 120km/h. Vertical signs monitoring is performed with a static retroreflectometer that evaluates its night-time efficiency.
