The project encompasses the following characteristics:
TGL will increase current hydrocarbon import and export capacity from Senegal;
It will be implemented at about 2200 m from the coast, with depths of -15.00 m (CD);
Reception of vessels from 13000 DWT to 95000 DWT;
Its access is guaranteed by a bridge over the sea, with development perpendicular to the coast, accommodating the access roads and pipes for liquid bulk;
With an implantation of about 330 m of length, the terminal will consist of two berths in mooring dolphins structures type, with a platform for loading and unloading of petroleum products;
This platform will be equipped with marine loading arms Gas oil, SSP/Petrol; JET, heavy fuel; liquid petroleum gas;
Each berth will have two mooring dolphins, with the loading/unloading platform between them, and development parallel to the access bridge; Four mooring dolphins will be shared by the two berths according to the same alignment of that bridge. The access between the various structures will be established through a set of metal walkways;
All the structures of the TGL will be in metallic structure, with foundation in tubular metal piles of open tip, sealed in the rocky massif, which presents to the surface, consisting of limestone and marls.
